Agriculture, Mesopotamia, and Hammurabi

Today we talked about the Neolithic Revolution. We attempted to define revolution before looking at the positives and negatives of agriculture. We talked about how important a surplus is, and how quickly populations grow once they settle down. Then we discussed Mesopotamian Law Code. We looked at problems facing Mesopotamia, and came up with our own solutions before analyzing how Hammurabi kept his people in check.


You don't have SS homework tonight, unless you didn't finish your critical reading over the weekend. If that's the case, complete it for tomorrow. The attachment is posted on Friday's blog post.
