Today we talked about the assassination of JFK. We discussed the events, watched video of the fallout, and then looked at some conspiracy theories surrounding it.
Your homework is to finish the "Duality of JFK" assignment that we started on Monday.
Today we talked more about charisma. We asked when it was necessary, as well as when it wasn't (Howard Dean...). Then we discussed how JFK handled some of his bigger foreign policy challenges, specifically involving Cuba. We also talked about Laika the Space Dog, Cosmonauts, and the Space Race.
