Today we talked about daily life during the Great Depression. We looked at the Dust Bowl, the Great Flood of 1936, and general poverty.

Then we started working on Great Depression Snapchats. I've attached the worksheet here, as well as instructions for the Great Depression Visual we worked on yesterday. 


Your homework tonight is to complete the Great Depression Snapchat


Visual: Please complete a visual to represent the United States during the Great Depression. Label the following:
Poor Education
The Elderly:
Lack of care
No incentive to retire
Lack of confidence in:
Stocks
Banks
Government
Deflation:
Overproduction
Underconsumption
Low wages
Unemployment
Lack of cash flow
Fear
Poor Infrastructure
Lack of Housing


For the Snapchat:
Using Chapter 32 as evidence, create a 4-part Snapchat Story detailing the impact of the Great Depression on the lives' of Americans

Include a picture of 4 of the following:
-Dustbowl
-Homelessness
-Starvation
-The Great Flood of 1936
-Unemployment
-Westward Migration
-The Impact of the Great Depression of Farmers
-The Impact of the Great Depression on Families

For each image, include a quote from the textbook, as well as a justification for your image
